Check a text

The engine splits the text into claims and judges each one. In fast mode it uses the framing review and what the knowledge base already knows. In verified mode it also researches the most checkable gaps on the web, which takes a few minutes. Gaps still open afterwards can be investigated further from the result, with as many research sessions as you choose.

Some verdicts rest on a choice the evidence does not settle, such as which definition of a contested word applies. The headline is always the default context, which weighs each reading by its prior; each claim then lists what it assumes and its verdict under the other readings. Pick another context to fix a reading, or the text's own premises to judge the text on its own terms.
